 Most properties are dockable, but TVA issues the 26A permit and it is their final decision to issue a permit after it meets their specifications on location and size of dock.  You will find floating docks on Cherokee, Norris and Douglas Lakes.

Cherokee Lake surrounds Hamblen, Jefferson, Grainger and Hawkins County with water sports, fishing and boating taking place on the 30,000 acre lake.  You can use any size boat on Cherokee Lake and try your luck in one of the many fishing tournaments.
